  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley fresh preferred
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg for binding
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce for topping

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Crack in the egg and pour in the milk. Mix until everything is well combined.

Baking

  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  • Spread marinara sauce on top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Allowing the meatloaf to rest helps retain juices. Make sure not to overmix to avoid a dense texture. Fresh ingredients enhance flavor.
